Short-Term Disability

• Standardly issued as non-occupational (24 hour coverage is available - subject to home office approval)
• Weekly benefits up to $1,250/week
• Partial Disability Benefit optional
• Core/Buy-Up Plans available for groups with at least 75 employees
• Standard plans include 50%, 60%, 66 2/3%, or 70% of basic weekly earnings
• Standard benefit periods of 13, 26, or 52 weeks (Accident/Sickness)
• Standard Elimination Periods of 0/7/14/30 days available (Accident/Sickness)
• STD benefits will be reduced by payments received from Workers' Compensation, any other group disability coverage of the employer, any sick pay plan of the employer and/or any temporary disability benefits law of any state
